Steve Collisson writes:

Dear All ,
It gives me huge pleasure to welcome you back to Cello Love on Saturday and Sunday 25th and 26th September.

Our venue on the Saturday will be St Mark’s Church, Primrose Hill, and we will spend much of the day getting to know the cello again by playing in our beloved cello orchestra. We will play lots of different pieces, from Rachmaninov and Saint Saens, to Downtown Abbey and ABBA.

On the Sunday we will be in the Library in Primrose Hill, as usual. We will spend the morning working on and rehearsing some of Saturday’s pieces and play a little concert in the afternoon, to anyone who wishes to attend. There is no pressure whatsoever in our concert at the end of the weekend: the most important experience I want people to take away from Cello Love is the pure enjoyment of playing, and playing together again.

There will be plenty of breaks built into the day as I imagine some of you may have not touched you cello in a while.

For lunch, you will be able to access a little sandwich kiosk in the church grounds on Saturday, and on Sunday, the usual shops in Primrose Hill will be available.

We are not able to provide lunch or refreshments on either day, I am afraid, so please do bring your own.

Sue, Danny, and I are all very much looking forward to seeing you all at the end of September
