Course overview by Sue Hadley:

There will be three professional cello tutors and lots of music to enjoy, playing in a variety of scenarios from Orchestra to Masterclasses.

The primary aim of the weekend is to give you an enjoyable experience making music with your cello.

As well as all the events we have planned, don’t forget that we are here to help you examine your relationship with your cello (and your bow!) to advise on technical issues, and to help you get the most out of the weekend.

So do make sure you tap into our knowledge and experience and don’t be afraid to ask for help with anything; we will do our best to advise you.

If you have never been on a cello weekend before and feel an air of trepidation, then please rest assured that everybody is welcome, and will be catered for, regardless of standard or experience, from bowing open strings to playing Piatti Caprices.

It’s a chance for you to explore the wonderful world of the cello and its music with lots of other like-minded cellists.

So, do take the plunge, and sign up for Cello Love.

We really look forward to seeing you there! Don’t forget to bring your cello (you’d be surprised!), bow, music, spike holder, music stand, any special seating enhancers you may have, a pencil, an eraser and, of course, lots of energy and enthusiasm!

The price for the weekend is £90.
