Looking for string players!

Hayley, strings fixer at Sinfonia Tamesa wrote to us:

Sinfonia Tamesa are looking to recruit some more string players for their autumn concert. We're especially keen to have some more violas, cellos and basses, but violins are very welcome too. Here are the details:

CONCERT SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER 2019

  • Coleridge-Taylor - Ballade for orchestra in A minor
  • Elgar - Cello Concerto
  • Nielsen - Symphony No.2 "The Four Temperaments"

CONDUCTOR: MATT ANDREWS; CELLO: TOM ISAAC

St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge

REHEARSALS

All rehearsals are 19.00-21.30 and at St. John's Waterloo unless marked otherwise:

  • Wed 16 October
  • Wed 23 October
  • Wed 30 October
  • Wed 6 November
  • Mon 11 November
  • Wed 13 November
  • Concert Day: Sat 16 November (14.00-17.00) - St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge

SUBS

  • £55 full
  • £25 for students/concessions

ATTENDANCE

We very much hope that everyone will be able to attend all of the rehearsals, but we understand that this isn't always possible. Ideally, we'd like members of the orchestra to miss no more than one rehearsal. If you need to miss more than one rehearsal however, don't despair! Drop me a line to discuss feasibility.
